RMC: France considers stopping players from wearing rainbow jerseys and supporting sexual minorities in other ways

Live Bar, October 16 according to French media RMC, France A is considering to stop letting players wear rainbow jerseys and adopt other ways to support sexual minorities.

According to the report, in the past few seasons, the French professional football league has been carrying out activities to combat homophobia by letting all professional players of France A and France B wear rainbow-colored jerseys, however, the French professional alliance is considering another way to carry out activities to support minority groups.

Last season, several professional players refused to wear rainbow jerseys. And all the associations of the anti-terrorism seminar admitted that this rainbow jersey increased the tension. Moreover, according to the survey, France’s acceptance of homosexuality is declining, and rainbow jerseys launched to combat homophobia often become the focus of discussion, so relevant stakeholders are considering adopting better methods. One of the current solutions is to make a special universal Jersey aimed at fighting all discrimination, including racism.
